In a new poultry house in Dronten, the light street has been constructed with Bouwplast plastic frames featuring HR++ diffuse glass.

A well-insulated barn must retain its heat as much as possible. Therefore, insulation should also be considered for the light street. The new barn in Dronten includes plastic frames with HR++ glass, which has good thermal properties. Additionally, Bouwplast frames are equipped with Z-profiles and special connections to minimize cold bridges.

Besides a constant indoor climate, light distribution is also important for poultry. The Bouwplast light street is therefore designed with diffuse glass that optimizes daylight entry. The glass breaks and distributes light rays, ensuring that the chickens are not disturbed by flickering while still receiving ample natural light.
