In the construction of air scrubbers for two broiler chicken barns in North Wales, England, Bouwplast-plus FR panels from Bouwimpex were used. The walls and ceilings in the air scrubber are lined with 850 m2 of plastic panels with fire class B (as placed on the market). The project was carried out by Powell Construction.

Bouwplast-plus FR panels for air scrubbers

Plastic panels are ideal for building air scrubbers. A panel system offers a lot of flexibility, can be installed quickly, and is cheaper than masonry. The downside of plastic is that it is more susceptible to fire. That is why Bouwimpex developed the Bouwplast-plus FR panel. Unique in its kind: a plastic panel with fire class B. With the FR (Fire Resistant) panel from Bouwimpex, fire safety and quality building come together in one product.
