A completely new calf barn has recently been built in Geffen, Brabant. Bouwimpex supplied fire-retardant Asw Pir FR B insulation and white FR panels here.

Asw Pir FR B insulation

For the new calf barn, no less than 6000 m2 of fire-retardant Asw Pir FR B insulation was supplied. The panels were used as ceiling insulation. Thanks to the insulation, the ambient temperature in the barn can be well regulated, improving animal welfare and their growth. Since the safety of animals in the barn has become the highest priority in recent years, the insulation also needs to provide fire protection.

FR Panels

For the partition walls in this project, white fire-retardant plastic panels were used. The Bouwplast-plus FR panel is made of high-quality plastic (PVC) that is composed of unique fire-retardant raw materials. Bouwplast panels stand out due to their clever click system. This is standard equipped with a unique EPDM seal that creates a hygienic, seamless connection. This way, the panels fit perfectly together, resulting in a smooth, flat wall or partition. The adhesion of dirt has little chance on these panels.
