Bouwplast-plus-FR PVC panels are designed for agricultural buildings where additional fire safety requirements apply. Thanks to a specially developed material composition, the panels achieve a reaction-to-fire classification of B-S3-D0 in accordance with EN 13501-1, as tested by Efectis.
The panels combine the fire-retardant properties of the material with the practical benefits of PVC wall panels, including a hygienic surface, easy cleaning and straightforward installation.

Fire safety is an important consideration when building or renovating livestock housing. At the same time, the materials used need to withstand daily cleaning and the demanding conditions found in agricultural buildings.
To meet these requirements, Bouwimpex worked with the plastics industry to develop Bouwplast-plus-FR: a PVC panel with fire-retardant properties that retains the practical advantages of the Bouwplast-plus range.
The panels are manufactured using a specially developed PVC formulation and have achieved a B-S3-D0 reaction-to-fire classification in tests carried out by Efectis. This makes them an option for projects where this classification is required.
Bouwplast-plus-FR panels have been used in agricultural construction for many years. Like the standard Bouwplast-plus panels, they feature an interlocking system that allows the panels to fit closely together, creating a smooth surface that is easy to clean.
The panels are available in widths of 250, 400 and 500 mm. The 500 mm version has a flat bottom edge, making it particularly suitable as a starter panel for pen partitions, including those used in pig housing.

Bouwplast finishing profiles provide a neat finish and make the panels easier to install. A range of profile types is available to suit different applications and panel configurations.
Like the panels, the PVC profiles have a smooth surface that is easy to clean.
